One late afternoon, I went to Red Rock to capture what I hoped would be an amazing sunset with great color over the mountains. But, as I waited, the sunset wasn't set up to what I expected. So I decided to look at what was happening behind me in the sky…well, the moon was rising through some interesting clouds. I would have missed it if I had waited longer to turn around…I love the moon pics, and what's cool, which happens most of the time when I go out to shoot pictures…I started this shoot by picturing the sunset over the mountains but photographed something I hadn't imagined. That's a great feeling!
